Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is a widely used thermoplastic polymer known for its excellent impact resistance and toughness. The chemical structure of ABS includes three distinct monomers: acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene. It typically appears as an opaque, off-white to light tan solid, but can be colored using various pigments. ABS has a density of about 1.04-1.06 g/cm³, making it relatively lightweight.
